Copy and paste heartkey as new layer. Resize 10%, sharpen. If you don't wish to proceed with animation, add copyright and tagger layers, crop and resize. Merge visible, and save as.

ANIMATION

You will need to zoom in quite close to line up the next few steps so they look right.Duplicate heartkey 4 times, so that you have 5 heartkey layers. Rename then 1, 2,3, 4, 5. Close layers 1, 2, 4 & 5.

On layer 3 - Grab your lasso tool, feather 0. See preview 2, cut out part of small loop so it looks as though the loop is going thru the heart. Highlight each layer and repeat delete on each layer, you don't need to open layers to do this, just make sure you do each heartwing layer. Select none. Highlight your heartwing layer, now grab your paintbrush tool, circle shape, size 6, hardness 23, step 5, Density 100, Thickness 100, Opacity 39, Blend mode normal. Click once just to the right of the part of loop sitting on heart.Close layer 3, open layer 2 - make sure layer 2 is highighted. Image rotate 15 degrees right, sharpen. Open layer 3, but remain on layer 2. Line up cut edge of small loop with cut edge near black dot on layer 3. Close layer 2. Open layer one, image rotate 30 degrees. Sharpen. Line up cut edge of small loop with cut edge near black dot on layer 3. Close layer 1. Open layer 4. Image rotate 15 degrees left, sharpen. Line up with small loop as before. Open layer 5, image rotate 30 degrees left, sharpen, line up same as before.

You will now notice that the right side of small loop either extends or overlaps the heartwing. We'll fix that now. Close all layers, except 4 & 5.Highlight layer 4. Grab lasso tool again, same settings, see preview 3, highlight layer 4, hit delete, highlight layer 5, hit delete.Select none. Close layers 4 & 5.Open layer 1 - grab clone tool. Size 2, right click somewhere on heartkey. Left click on gap between heartwing and heart key, this should fill in the gap. Repeat the same for layer 2.

Close all heartkey layers except layer 1.

Now add your drop shadows to each layer, don't forget your closed layers, I often do. Crop and resize all layers, remember your resolution setting. Add your copyright and tagger layers.

Making sure ALL heartkey layers are closed, merge visible. Open heartkey layer 1 again, copy merged into Animation Shop.Close layer 1, open layer 2, copy merged into AS after current frame.Close layer 2 open layer 3, copy merged into AS after current frame.Keep doing this until you have all 5 layers copied into AS.Scroll back to frame 1, edit select all. Edit, copy. Scroll to frame 5, paste after current frame. Go to animation, reverse frames. Scroll back to frame 1, edit select all, and run your animation. If you are happy with it, File, optimise, file save as.
